Loose Leash Walking consists of private, weekly lessons that teach you structured techniques on how to walk your dog on a loose leash. You will acquire the tools and knowledge required to make for a comfortable walking experience. The training is practical, effective, and suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

This curriculum will also teach you how to become your dog's pack leader. Asserting the leadership role in your dog's life begins with a structured walk. Your dog will learn to follow you, without pulling, walking ahead, or sniffing the ground. The classes take place outdoors, including parks, streets, and other high-distraction settings.

Why practice loose leash walking?

Dogs are pack animals who love to travel. They crave to have a leader in their lives who they can follow. They are animals who seek guidance and direction. Daily walks are essential for a dog's physical and mental health. They reduce any abundance of energy and subdue unwanted behaviour. It's found that dogs that walk on a regular basis live longer, happier lives and are less likely to develop arthritis, joint problems, and weight issues.

Some people assume that a large backyard will provide sufficient exercise for their dog, however, an enclosed environment only serves as a fish tank does to a fish. Others assume that an off-leash dog park is enough to satisfy their dogs' exercise needs.
